Is Sacrifice a Loss of Wealth?

In the present age, many new tribulations are arising every day. There is also the temptation of the liberal mafia. These people in the guise of Muslims try to turn people away from Islam. They try to create problems in people's minds about Islam in different ways.

Since Eid-ul-Adha is coming. That is why they are trying to create in the minds of the people that sacrificing is a waste of wealth.

In today's discussion, we will try to answer the problem of these people that sacrificing is not a waste of money. Rather, it is the command of Allah.

Further, with the help of Allah, we will also try to prove that sacrifice is not a waste of wealth but it provides employment to the people. And an atmosphere of peace and tranquility is created in society.

Is sacrifice cruel?

sacrifice is commanded by Allah:

sacrifice is an act of worship. And Allah has commanded to perform this act of worship. Allah said: ŁَŲµَŁ„ِّ Ł„ِŲ±َŲØِّŁƒَ ŁˆَŲ§Ł†ْŲَŲ±ْ۔ So pray to your Lord and sacrifice (Surat al-Kawthar, verse no. 02).

And on the other hand, if we look, Allah has also stopped us from wasting money. Allah said: Ų„ِŁ†َّ Ų§Ł„ْŁ…ُŲØَŲ°ِّŲ±ِŁŠŁ†َ ŁƒَŲ§Ł†ُŁˆŲ§ Ų„ِŲ®ْŁˆَŲ§Ł†َ Ų§Ł„Ų“َّŁŠَŲ§Ų·ِŁŠŁ†ِ۔ Indeed, those who spend in vain are the brothers of Satan. (Surat al-Isra ': 27)

If sacrificing is a waste of wealth, can God command us to sacrifice? While Allah Himself has forbidden us to do this. Wasteful spending is also a form of waste of money. When Allah does not like ordinary wasteful spending, how can He issue an order which is based on wasteful spending?

It is as if it is an open contradiction that on the one hand Allah has forbidden us to waste money and on the other hand He is constantly ordering us to spend billions of rupees every year.

Therefore, to say that sacrificing is a waste of wealth is in itself nonsense. sacrifice is, in fact, an act of worship. Which is the means of nearness to Allah

Similarly, if sacrificing was a waste of money, our prophets would not have sacrificed 100 animals in the way of Allah. Therefore, these ungodly people try to insult both Allah and His Messenger by creating such forms.

Benefits of sacrifice:

The above discussion proves that sacrificing is not a waste of wealth at all. Rather, it is the command of Allah and His Prophet. Islam is a religion that has taken care of the poor at every turn.

If we take a closer look, we will understand that sacrificing is not a waste of wealth but a benefit to the poor. Moreover, the soul of the sacrificer is the pure love of wealth.

Slaughtering sacrificial animals is also a form of cooperation with the poor. The benefits of sacrifice for the poor are as follows.

1- Many poor people cannot eat the meat of goats, ewes, or cows all year-round. Even during the year, if we support them financially, they still spend the money to meet their other needs.

When we send meat to their house on this auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Adha, it fulfills their heart's desire. The desire they can't fulfill all year.

2. Most of the poor people have their business associated with sacrificial animals. They raise small animals, feed them. When the animals are ready for sacrifice, they bring them to the markets and sell them. Thus their livelihood depends on these sacrificial animals. Therefore, by sacrificing, such people get employment.

Were it not for the sacrificial system, no one would have bought so many animals. Thus, due to the blessed act of sacrifice, a series of continuous cooperation is established with these poor people.

3- A large number of poor people are those who work in carrying goods. Such people also have a very good job these days. First, the traders load their animals on carts and bring them to the market.

Then people take these animals to their homes on carts. It seems that even for these gentlemen, sacrifice brings some prosperity.

4- Rich people take great care of sacrificial animals when they take them home. Grass and grain are provided for these animals. During the days of sacrifice, depots of hay, etc. are set up in various places.

The people who set up depots in these places are backward. Because of the sacrifice, the grass of these backward people is sold at good prices. This is also a wonderful series of cooperation with the poor.

5- It is better to slaughter the sacrificial animal than to slaughter it ourselves. But it is not necessary. We can also have our animal slaughtered by a butcher. Many people have their animals slaughtered by a butcher.

That is why we see butchers roaming the streets during the days of sacrifice. These days they get good compensation for slaughtering animals. It's also a great way to work with the poor.

So it's just the propaganda that sacrificing is a waste of money. This propaganda has no status from the Shariah point of view, nor does it have any status from the worldly point of view.

With the help of Allah, we have tried to respond to these liberals and atheists in a better way. May Allah accept us until the last breath of our life to serve and strengthen His religion. Amen!
