Importance of Dua in Ramadan and some rules regarding Dua

Ramadan and dua have a special relationship. Ramadan is the month of seeking the blessings of God Almighty and the best time to get closer to God. In this month we should try our best to get closer to Allah. And we should try our best to reap the blessings of Allah as much as possible in this month.
Other acts of worship, such as prayers, fasting, and zakat are also a means of attaining nearness to God, but one of these acts of worship is one that brings one closer to God very quickly. Our Prophet (PBUH) called it the essence of all worship.  In fact, it has been declared as an act of worship. Hazrat Nu' man bin Bashir (RA) narrates from the Prophet (PBUH) that he said: Ų§Ł„ŲÆُّŲ¹َŲ§Ų”ُ Ł‡ُŁˆَŲ§Ł„ْŲ¹ِŲØَŲ§ŲÆَŲ©” Prayer is worship.”(Sunan-abe-Dawood and the chain of its transmission is correct. Hadith No. 1479)
In the Qur'an, Allah has specifically mentioned du'a while explaining the rules regarding Ramadan. Such a statement adds to the importance of prayer. Although we should pray in other months as well, we should pray a lot more in this holy month because in this month divine mercy is in full swing and the doors of God's mercy is open. And he who endures hunger and thirst all day long for the sake of his Creator and Master, and at the time of breaking the fast when he stretches out his hands to his Lord to meet his needs and wants, then Allah satisfies his need and solves his problems. Allah gives to the fasting person whatever he asks of (except disobedience).
Hazrat Abdullah bin Amr bin Aas (RA) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said: Ų„ِŁ†َّ Ł„ِŁ„ŲµَّŲ§Ų¦ِŁ…ِ Ų¹ِŁ†ْŲÆَ ŁِŲ·ْŲ±ِŁ‡ِ Ł„َŲÆَŲ¹ْŁˆَŲ©ً Ł…َŲ§ ŲŖُŲ±َŲÆُّ۔ Whatever supplication a fasting person makes during Iftaar is not rejected ”(Sunan Ibn Majah, Hadith No. 1753)
There are very precious moments of accepting prayers at the time of breaking the fast. At that time a person's lips are dry, his liver is thirsty and his hunger has intensified. In these moments, whoever remembers Allah and He put his needs and requirements in front of him. Allah fulfills his needs and requirements.
But in the present age, at the same time, our young people are holding parties and wasting this precious time in nonsense and women spend their time preparing food at home, so young people should Spend this precious time in prayer, and if women cannot make special arrangements for prayer, then continue to pray during your work.
In the same way, the time of Suhoor is such that if a person prays to Allah at that time, he does not reject his prayer, because at that time Allah Almighty descends from the heavens to the world and announces it. Ł‡َŁ„ْ Ł…ِŁ†ْ Ų³َŲ§Ų¦ِŁ„ٍ ŁŠُŲ¹ْŲ·َŁ‰؟ Ł‡َŁ„ْ Ł…ِŁ†ْ ŲÆَŲ§Ų¹ٍ ŁŠُŲ³ْŲŖَŲ¬َŲ§ŲØُ Ł„َŁ‡ُ؟ Ł‡َŁ„ْ Ł…ِŁ†ْ Ł…ُŲ³ْŲŖَŲŗْŁِŲ±ٍ ŁŠُŲŗْŁَŲ±ُ Ł„َŁ‡ُ؟ ŲَŲŖَّŁ‰ ŁŠَŁ†ْŁَŲ¬ِŲ±َ Ų§Ł„ŲµُّŲØْŲُ۔"Is there anyone asking for it to be granted? Is there anyone praying for his prayer to be accepted? Is there anyone asking for forgiveness of sins to be forgiven until dawn?" )Sahih Muslim, Hadith number: 758)

Etiquette of Dua:

Dua is the weapon of the believer. When a person's weapon is strong, there is no defect in it, it is easy to subdue the enemy, but if there is any defect in the weapon, its effect is lessened. Similarly, there are some special etiquettes of dua. Whoever wants Allah to accept his dua, he should take care of the following etiquette while praying:
  •  A man should be present in his heart and in a state of complete fear and humility.
  • A man should pay attention to the qiblah.
  •  Before praying, he should praise and glorify Allah Almighty and praise Him and give thanks for His blessings.
  • Praise be to Hazrat Muhammad.
Then after that, whatever a person desires, he should put it before Allah Almighty.

Times of Acceptance of Prayers:

The person who is praying should also try to pray during the times in which there is a high expectation of acceptance. The times of Suhoor and Iftaar have been clearly explained because these times are easily available to human beings during the holy month of Ramadan. In addition to these times, there are other times in which Allah accepts the prayers of His servant. Here are some of the most valuable times:
  •      Whatever a person prays in the state of prostration, Allah accepts that prayer.
  •      Allah does not reject the supplications made between the call to prayer and the iqamah.
  •      After every prayer, this is also the time of acceptance of Dua.
  •      There is a special hour on Friday in which the person who prays, Allah accepts his prayer.

       Summary:

Prayer is worship. Prayer is the essence of worship. Ramadan is the month of accepting prayers. We should pray a lot to Allah this month.
Ramadan and Dua has a special relationship. And Ramadan is a month of accepting prayers. We should pray a lot this month keeping in mind the above etiquette. Especially we should pray at times when prayer is more acceptable. May Allah give us the Strength to Act۔Ameen!
